We can confirm that these cases are 100% brass and are fully recyclable. We have created a Brass Case Certificate which provides more details on the exact case composition and surface treatment. ELEY€™s revolutionary blackened case treatment can now be found on three products in our range: ELEY edge, ELEY force and ELEY high velocity hollow, benefiting target shooters, semi-auto users and hunters. The patented copper oxide film provides a consistent contact area between case and bullet. This increases and regulates friction for a more uniform bullet release and greater accuracy. The blackened cartridge cases are made from a brass alloy of copper and zinc. ELEY recommend that all spent brass cases are recycled to increase sustainability of this metal and to reduce the environmental impact.
