The KK500 is a significant high-end extension of Walther’s KK300 range of small-bore rifles. With its special technical features, high shooting precision, new trigger and ergonomic stock it is designed primarily for shooters who compete at the national and international level.

I decided to purchase a new rifle when I experienced issues with my old 1813 misfiring. I had long considered replacing it with a new Anschutz but upon further investiagtion, I heard very good things about the KK500. So far I have not been disappointed. At first glance it appears difficult to set up but much of this was avoided as EMRR provide a free set up service as part of the purchase. Whilst I have made a few small tweaks to become fully comfortable I was basically able to commence competitions from the get go. I know Club members who have purchased other makes and struggled to set them up properly. The rifle is easy to maintain and I was pleased to note that the extension tube is easy to remove, clean and relocate, given again I know someone with another make of rifle that is having no end of trouble with the extension tube. Having watched a u tube video the bolt does look more complicated to take apart than my previous rfile and I have yet to attempt this. All in all however, I am very happy with the new purchase and this is starting to be reflected in my scores. Also, I cannot fault the service provided by Andrew and Sue at EMRR. Both very friendly and very knowledgable

A very good set up process

Andy and Sue were very good in getting the new rifle to fit me up with a comfortable shooting position to start from. This also helped me to understand all the various working of all the bits and pieces for the future. The shop was well stocked and able to provide me with some unusual items to ensure that everything fell into place comfortably. Thank you very much both of you.
